NEW Data Partner – Solareye

New to Lighting Reality – Solar powered lighting for ecologically sensitive
areas
.

Solareye is a UK based manufacturer of commercial solar lighting which is designed for and rigorously tested in UK weather conditions. Their flagship product, the Solareye80 ground light provides 360° wayfinding visibility in off-grid areas, meaning they can be installed almost anywhere, without the need for hardwiring. With more than 30,000 installed around the world, they are hard-wearing, economic and sustainable.

Solareye80 & Solareye Bat Hat

Ideal for conservation sensitive areas and dark sky reserves, the Solareye80 ‘Bat Hat’ features a cowled LED which minimises upwards light spillage by 98%, while maintaining the same profile and night time visibility as the original Solareye80 ground light.

Since its launch the Solareye80 Bat Hat has been widely adopted by customers wanting to balance the needs of human activities with the conservation of natural ecosystems. The product has also been recognised in the professional fields of lighting and ecology, receiving recognition in both the Institution of Lighting Professionals’ (ILP) and Bat Conservation Trust’s Bats and Artificial Lighting at Night guidance note (GN08/23) and the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management’s (CIEEM) UK Bat Mitigation Guidelines.

Solareye Bollard Light

In addition to Solareye80 ground light, Solareye Bollard Light is designed, patented and made in Britain for UK weather conditions. With ecology in mind, Bollard Light is available in warm white with customisable light levels and an inbuilt motion sensor. The large capacity battery also means it will illuminate throughout the night, even following the shortest day of the year.
