Established in 1982 by Tony Stewart OBE, ASD Lighting PLC design, develop and manufacture a comprehensive range of commercial, domestic, industrial, street and security lighting products, to the highest standards with design flair and creativity.

Based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK, the state of the art design and in-house manufacturing facility includes: Injection Moulding, Light Engine Manufacture (SMT Facility), Pre-Treatment & Powder Coating, Form In-place Gasketing.

These facilities, along with final assembly lines combining the labour force and Cobots (collaborative robots that work safely in conjunction with operatives), ensure that ASD remains competitive and at the forefront of innovative manufacturing techniques.

ASD combines skill and expertise in the design and manufacture of lighting, to provide a portfolio of products which, are not only attractive and hard wearing, but also include practical and time saving installation features. Every product undergoes full function testing at the end of manufacturing (including pre-wiring), to ensure they are fully operational, when leaving the factory.
