TRT Lighting Ltd (Thorlux Road and Tunnel Lighting) is one of ten companies within the FW Thorpe Group, and evolved from parent company Thorlux Lighting. Building on 90 years of experience, TRT designs, manufactures and supplies sustainable and environmentally friendly performance lighting products for the road/street, tunnel and exterior lighting markets.

LED lighting solutions bring another dimension to how roads, streets, tunnels and general exterior spaces are illuminated. TRT’s ability to understand and adapt to the needs of its customers ensures that developed products are technically and mechanically sound and provide energy efficient, long-lasting lighting solutions with excellent returns on investment.

The company is also committed to reducing obtrusive light and light trespass in order to protect the night sky from light pollution. This preservation is critical not only for the well-being of people and wildlife, but also for scientific and astronomical purposes. A range of TRT products can be used in dark-sky applications, thanks to their DarkSky International approval.

TRT Lighting are proud to manufacture its products in the UK. All luminaires being rigorously tested to all relevant global and regional standards using in-house testing facilities.
